Render at Mansfield Woodhouse
We were working on a render job in forest town when the lady approached me from her car as she was visiting her father who lived on the street and asked if I could give her a quote for her daughters house. I love it when people just stop to have a chat with you!
Edge Hill Road Mansfield Woodhouse
How long to do the job:
In total 2 working weeks from start to finish. A few days were needed to be left for materials to fully dry out.
Rendering tasks involved:
The side elevation had the old existing render on and the rear was a new extension which had been half rendered by the builder who had built it but was very poor so we removed all the old render from the side and back elevations to get back to the brick and block work.
Once it was all chopped off we fitted new render stop beads to all external corners and horizontal just above damp course. We then fitted expermet galvanised mesh sheeting to all the exposed brick and block work.
Once every where is meshed a base coat is applied to all areas
Top coat is then applied in manageable sections which is finished with a float and sponge and left ready for décor.
